Before starting the installation, verify that you have:

• Successfully deployed the Controller, EUM Server, and the Events Service.
• Downloaded the Synthetic Server installer package from the Cisco AppDynamics Download Center. The installer package will be listed on the Downloads site as "Synthetic Server (zip)".
