Use Case: Identify ​the cause of the impact of end-user application delivery

Whenever there is a high end-user response time in an application, you can quickly identify whether the application issue is caused by a critical network issue. Observe Accedian Skylight alert events data in the Browser RUM context and determine the cause of the affected applications.

Consider that you have received an alert indicating a surge in the end-user response time for an application. You can then:

  • navigate to Browser RUM and validate the surge in the end-user response time.
  • in the Accedian Skylight Insights widget, observe multiple peaks in raised alerts around the same time as that of the end-user response time.​
  • use the details table to identify which policy and session are most affected.
  • apply a filter using the affected policy and session name, and correlate the peaks with the end-user response time. You can deduce that the problem lies in the private network.
  • navigate to Accedian Skylight using the hyperlink and troubleshoot.
