View Kubernetes-related Details on AppDynamics SaaS Controller

You can view the Kubernetes details on the Tiers and the Nodes dashboards. The deeplinks to Splunk Observability cloud provide the detailed information about those Kubernetes entities.

The tiers are linked to the workloads and nodes are linked to the pods on Splunk Observability Cloud.

  1. Navigate to the required application dashboard.
  2. Double click the tier or node that has issues.
  3. View the Kubernetes-related information by using any of the following navigation:

    • On the right pane, you can view the related workloads or pods under Splunk Related Content.

      For tiers: Click the required workload to navigate to Splunk Observability Cloud Workloads page and get a detailed view of the same workload with the same filters as included in the Tiers dashboard page.

      For nodes: Click the required pod to navigate to Splunk Observability Cloud Pods page and get a detailed view of the same pod with the same filters as included in the Nodes dashboard page.

    • Click the tier that displays the health status as critical or warning, then click Kubernetes tab.The details of the Kubernetes entities are displayed. For detailed analysis, click the deeplink to Splunk Observability Cloud.

    Note: The tiers include the workload details and the nodes include the pod details.
