Link the User Identity in AppDynamics SaaS Tenant with the Identity in Splunk Observability Cloud

The users accessing the linked tenant in AppDynamics SaaS must link their respective identities in Splunk Observability Cloud and vice versa to view the required details.

Each user must perform these tasks after the administrator has successfully connected AppDynamics SaaS and Splunk Observability Cloud:

  1. Navigate to the required Application dashboard.
  2. Click the Splunk Related Content tab from the right pane.
  3. Click Login to Splunk Observability Cloud.

    This is required to map the Splunk Observability user identity to the Splunk AppDynamics SaaS user identity on the linked tenant.

  4. Navigate to Splunk Observability Cloud user profile page, and click Link your Splunk AppDynamics user identity under the AppDynamics tab.
Note: This task is required to link the same users on AppDynamics SaaS and Splunk Observability Cloud. After the identity is linked, you don't require to link again unless you have not accessed the account for seven days.
