Compatibility

Splunk AI Assistant for SPL version 1.3.1` is compatible with supported versions of Splunk Cloud Platform and Splunk Enterprise.

Features and improvements

Splunk AI Assistant for SPL version 1.3.1 includes the following features and improvements:

  • Version 1.3.1 offers Splunk Cloud platform users the option to participate in a preview of a Third-party Large Language Model (LLM) Usage feature. When you open the application after installing or upgrading to version 1.3.1, your Splunk Administrator can choose to participate in this preview. See Feature preview: Third-party LLM Usage.
  • Splunk AI Assistant for SPL is now available for Splunk Cloud platform customers in several Azure regions. See Supported regions.
  • This version extends the version 1.3.0 option to participate in a preview of an SPL optimization feature. When you open the application after installing or upgrading to version 1.3.1, your Splunk Administrator can choose to participate in this preview. See Feature preview: Optimization.
