Agent Enhancements

This release:

• Introduces -multi-process-logging install flag. Please refer to Download and install the Apache Agent for details.

• Upgrades Log4J to version 2.25.4 , Java proxy version updates to version 26.6.0

This release:

• introduces -Dappdynamics.cookie.encoding.disable to deactivate cookie encoding. Set -Dappdynamics.cookie.encoding.disable=true in the java command line.

• fixes bugs. See Agent Resolved Issues.

• Smart Agent now detects unresponsive OpAMP connections and applies client-side timeouts, preventing heartbeat transmission from silently stopping and enabling automatic recovery.

• Machine Agent bundle downloads use the proxy settings from Smart Agent config.ini, removing the need for HTTP_PROXY or HTTPS_PROXY environment-variable workarounds.

• Smart Agent now removes duplicate, overlapping, and empty-regex Java filter entries during merge, reducing unpredictable instrumentation behavior.

• Java Agent upgrades using preserve_config or reuse_config now retain the existing Controller account access key, aligning with Machine Agent upgrade behavior.
