Add sample data
Add representative sample events so Guided Onboarding can analyze data and recommend Common Information Model (CIM) mappings.
Complete the general questions.
Use sample data that represents the production data structure. Include typical events, error events, and edge cases. Remove sensitive values before you add sample data.
- On the Add sample data page, enter sample events directly or upload a sample file.
- Review the preview when you upload a file to make sure that the sample includes representative event types.
- Select Next to start analysis.
You can review detected data groups and CIM data model recommendations after Guided Onboarding analyzes the sample data.
