The Ingest monitoring app is installed on the primary search head and managed by Splunk Cloud. Updates to the app are automatically pushed and installed by Splunk Cloud, ensuring you have the latest version without manual intervention.
How to access the Ingest monitoring app
To find and access the Ingest monitoring app in your Splunk deployment:
- From anywhere in Splunk Web, navigate to the top menu.
- Select Apps > Ingest Monitoring.
The app directory is named splunk-ingest-monitoring.
