Copy the latest or versioned link to a topic

Copy a permanent, stable link to a topic on the Splunk Help Portal so you can always return to the specified or latest version of a topic.

URLs to topic files can change if version numbers change, or if topic titles or guide names are updated or moved over time. To ensure that you can always access the correct topic, copy the permanent, stable link to the topic.

1. Select the link icon.
2. Select an option from the drop-down menu:
   • Select Latest to copy the link to the latest version of the topic.
   • If the documentation is versioned, select a version to copy the permanent link to a specific version.

You can now use this stable link to access the latest or specific version of the topic.
