Monitor usage of your activity-based subscription
Using the CMC Activity Based Pricing dashboard
If your Splunk Cloud Platform subscription plan is an activity-based contract, use the Activity Based Pricing dashboard to monitor usage and ensure that your spending stays within your contract limits.
Review the Activity Based Pricing dashboard
To investigate the your activity metrics, go to Cloud Monitoring Console > License Usage > Activity Based Pricing.
| Panel | Description |

| Contract status | The current amount of data covered by your contract and the projected usage for your contract. Projected values are calculated as an average of your historical usage patterns from actual data points. The projection extends throughout the actual usage and beyond the recorded data points to the end of the contract period. |
| Contract usage | The total dollar amount consumed from your pool during the current segment and the amount of your segment allocation remains available. The remaining amount is calculated by subtracting your total spend from your segment commitment. These amounts accumulates throughout your contract segment. |
| Usage | The amount of ingest data and the number of searches during the current segment, |
