Use the Catalog in Splunk Cloud Platform to create, view, update, and delete connections, federated datasets, and datasets for raw data in Machine Data Lake.

The Catalog lets you create, view, update, and delete connections and datasets. You can configure connections and federated datasets to onboard data from remote sources such as Amazon S3 and Microsoft Azure, create Machine Data Lake datasets for storing raw data, and manage these resources from one central view.
