Use authentication tokens to authenticate Splunk Observability Cloud API requests, track API usage, and control your use of resources.
Splunk Observability Cloud has 2 types of tokens:

Session tokens which are valid for a short period. See Retrieve and manage user API access tokens using Splunk Observability Cloud.

Org tokens are valid for an extended period. See Create and manage organization access tokens using Splunk Observability Cloud.
