Report types

The following report types are available:

APM Application Inventory Generates a detailed inventory of the selected APM-specific application, including tiers, nodes, Business Transactions, and instrumentation details. Use this to assess APM application complexity before migration.
APM Migration Wave Planning Generates a wave planning report that groups APM applications into recommended migration waves based on complexity, dependencies, and criticality. Use this to build a phased migration roadmap.
Business Transaction Analysis: Splunk AppDynamics vs Splunk Observability Cloud Generates a side-by-side comparison of Business Transactions discovered in Splunk AppDynamics and Splunk Observability Cloud for the selected application. Use this to identify configuration gaps, naming mismatches, and alignment opportunities.
Dual Ingestion Analysis: Splunk AppDynamics vs Splunk Observability Cloud Compares each tier of a selected Splunk AppDynamics application with services actively ingesting data into Splunk Observability Cloud during the specified lookback period. The report also includes the Splunk AppDynamics agent type and version for each matched tier.
