Splunk Secure Application is a comprehensive application security monitoring solution that continuously scans applications to detect vulnerabilities and security threats. It provides detailed reports to prioritize remediation based on risk severity and integrates with existing workflows to enable proactive security management. This helps reduce the attack surface and maintain application security effectively.
Key features
Secure Application provides detailed security visibility through the following key features:
Run-time libraries and vulnerabilities: Scans for vulnerabilities in artifacts in use by your instrumented Java applications at run time rather than at test or build time.
Alerting: Sends alerts when Secure Application detects new vulnerabilities.
Limitations
You must be a current Splunk Observability Cloud user with a Splunk APM license.
You must have a Java based application to monitor.
Your Splunk Observability Cloud organization should be in the us0 or us1 realm.
