Javaエージェントのアップグレード

Java エージェントをアップグレードするには、既存のエージェントディレクトリをバックアップロケーションにコピーし、新しいエージェントディレクトリと置き換えます。それから、古いディレクトリで行われた構成ファイルの変更を新しいエージェントディレクトリにコピーし、アプリケーションサーバーを再起動します。

About the Upgrade

Before you begin, review the corresponding version of the Release Notes for changes that affect your environment. If you are upgrading both the Controller and agents, first upgrade the Controller and then upgrade the Java Agents.

Also, if upgrading multiple agents in your monitored environment, upgrade the agents for the tiers on which business transactions are originated last. For more information about this requirement, along with Controller and agent compatibility information, see Agent and Controller Compatibility.

Upgrading the agent requires a restart of the application server.

An agent upgrade requires no action on the Controller.

Before starting, download the latest version of the Java Agent for your JVM from the Splunk AppDynamicsDownload Center.

Javaエージェントのアップグレード

  1. Javaエージェントがインストールされたアプリケーションサーバーをシャットダウン。
  2. 現在のエージェントインストールディレクトリのバックアップコピーを作成。
  3. アーカイブを新しいディレクトリに展開します
  4. 既存のエージェントディレクトリの名前を変更。
  5. 新しいディレクトリの名前を古いエージェントディレクトリの元の名前に変更します。
    新しいエージェントディレクトリとそこに含まれているファイルのパスは、元のディレクトリと同じにする必要があります。同じディレクトリパスを使用することで、JVM 起動スクリプト内のエージェント関連設定を手動で変更する必要がなくなります。
  6. controller-info.xml および必要に応じて agent.properties を古いエージェントの config ディレクトリから新しいディレクトリの次の場所にコピー。agent.properties
    例：
    CODE 
    <agent_home>/<version>/confappd_javaagent/ver4.0.0.0/conf
  7. app-agent-config.xml またはその他の構成ファイルに変更を加えている場合、それらの変更も新しいファイルにコピー。
    注: コントローラ UI との通信に SSL ポート（ssl-enabled=true）を使用している場合は、トラストストアのファイルを新しいディレクトリにコピーしてください。たとえば、古いバックアップ エージェント ディレクトリ（<version>/conf/）からアップグレードした新しいディレクトリ（<agent_home>/<version>/conf/）に cacerts.jks をコピーします。また、エージェントユーザーがエージェントのトラストストアファイル（cacerts.jks）を読み取れることを確認します。
  8. アプリケーションサーバーを再起動する。
再起動が完了したら、元のディレクトリをアーカイブし、アプリケーションサーバーのホームから削除できます。
