Dynamic options in Dashboard Studio
Use dynamic options in Splunk Dashboard Studio to conditionally style visualizations based on the data you connect to the visualization. For example, you can use dynamic options to configure a single value visualization's background color to change depending on the trend value: red for a negative trend value and green for a positive trend value. Compared to using static options, using dynamic options offers reduced maintenance and scalability.
You can use the Dashboard Studio visual editor to apply both dynamic and static options to visualizations. More advanced configurations for dynamic options involve writing the dynamic options syntax (DOS) in the Dashboard Studio source editor.
