Install Splunk AI Assistant for Splunk Enterprise customers with AI tier

Splunk Enterprise customers can use Splunk AI Assistant with an AI tier deployment. With AI tier, AI processing occurs within your infrastructure.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you meet the following requirements:

  • Splunk AI Assistant is installed on your Splunk Enterprise deployment.

  • Your AI tier environment is deployed and configured.

  • You have the Splunk AI Assistant Service URL for your AI tier deployment.

Setup steps

Complete the following steps to configure Splunk AI Assistant to use AI tier:

  1. Launch Splunk AI Assistant to open the app configuration page.

  2. Select Continue to app setup page.

  3. On the onboarding page, select AI tier.

  4. Select Begin setup.

  5. Review the information on the Getting started page, then select Next.

  6. On the Configure SOK and Splunk AI Assistant page, enter the Splunk AI Assistant Service URL for your AI tier deployment.

  7. Select Complete Setup.

After setup is complete, Splunk AI Assistant uses the configured AI tier deployment for supported AI Assistant functionality.
