  • In agent management

View the agent status from Splunk Enterprise

You can view the status of an agent from Splunk Enterprise.

  1. Log in to Splunk Enterprise.

  2. Select the settings icon (Settings) and in the System section, select Server settings.

  3. Select Deployment client. This takes you to a read-only screen that provides some information about the agent:
    • its deployment server
    • its server classes and apps
    • its status
Note: With version 10.0, we have updated the following product names:
    • "deployment server" is now called "agent management"
    • "deployment client" is now called "agent"

However, the names "deployment client" and "deployment server" remain present in some parts of Splunk Enterprise.
