Cloud provider support for standard and transparent modes in Splunk Cloud Platform
Federated Search for Splunk supports connections between Splunk Cloud Platform deployments that are hosted in the same cloud provider environment.
Use the following table to determine whether standard mode or transparent mode federated search is supported between Splunk Cloud Platform deployments hosted on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Note: Splunk Cloud Platform does not support Federated Search for Splunk between deployments hosted in different cloud environments, such as AWS and Azure.
