Create a detector that periodically runs an SPL search and fires an alert based on the number of matching events.
Confirm that your Splunk Observability Cloud environment has a supported Unified Identity or Log Observer Connect configuration. You also need access to the connection and log data used by the search, and capability (CREATE_LOGS_DETECTOR) to create log alerts.
A log-based detector contains one log alert rule. An organization can retain up to 50 log-based detectors.
