Re-migrate specific artifacts

Reference information about eligibility criteria for re-migrating specific artifacts.

If a migration job fails or completes only partially, you can retry the affected artifacts without re-running the entire job. To re-migrate, meet the following criteria:

  • A job item must have a recoverable failure or partial result status to be eligible for selective retry.

  • For dashboard migration jobs, only top-level dashboards are eligible for selective retry. Individual charts and groups within a dashboard cannot be selected as standalone retry targets.

  • Once the maximum number of retries is exhausted for a job item, the retry controls are disabled and the item can no longer be re-migrated selectively.

Re-migrate selected artifacts

Re-migrate selected artifacts from the Job Details view.

  1. Open the Job Details View by selecting a job name in the Jobs List.
  2. Review artifact statuses to identify failed or warning items.
  3. Select the checkbox next to the artifact or artifacts you want to re-migrate.
  4. The Re-migrate N selected items button appears in the top-right corner, where N equals the number of selected items.
  5. Select the button to re-migrate only the selected artifacts.
  6. The system re-runs the migration for those artifacts and updates the status in the table.

Re-migrate

Re-migrates all artifacts in the job at once. All artifacts irrespective of success or failure status are re-migrated.

Re-migrate N selected items

Re-migrates only the selected artifacts. Use this option for targeted retries of specific items.
