Set up Secure Application

Collect data relevant to Secure Application from your application.

Secure Application relies on data (events and logs) your application sends to Splunk Observability Cloud. To set this up your journey looks like this:

  1. Set up notifications.

    Outcome: You can receive vulnerability or attack notifications when Secure Application starts reporting findings.

  2. Set up zero-code instrumentation or Set up manual instrumentation.

    Outcome: Your application is sending telemetry relevant to Secure Application to Splunk Observability Cloud and you can see data on the Runtime vulnerabilities, Libraries, Attacks, and Notifications pages.
