Asset Health

Displays: This widget triggers a background health check of all configured security assets (integrations, apps, connectors).

Business Value: Ensures your security infrastructure is functioning properly and can ingest data from all sources.

How It Works:

  1. Rather than displaying data, this widget:

  2. Checks when the last health poll occurred

  3. If more than 6 hours ago, triggers a new health check

  4. Sends commands to check connectivity and status of all enabled assets

  5. Cleans up stale status records for disabled assets

The health check runs in the background and results are visible elsewhere in the system (typically in the Apps page).

Polling Frequency: Every 6 hours (configurable)

Assets Checked:

  • All non-disabled integration assets

  • Connectivity status

  • Last successful communication

Filters Applied:

  • Only active/enabled assets

  • Tenant (multi-tenant environments)

Pending Approvals

Displays: Distribution of pending approval requests across team members, showing who has approvals waiting for their review.

Business Value: Identifies approval bottlenecks and helps ensure timely decision-making in automated workflows.

Metrics Displayed:

  • Total Pending: Count of all pending approvals

    Any approval with status = "pending" in the date range

  • User Breakdown: Each user's pending count and relative percentage

    User % = (User's Approval Count ÷ Highest User's Count) × 100
