Administer the Fleet Management Service

Fleet Management Service is responsible for agent life cycle management through the Controller UI. To use Agent Management, start the Fleet Management Service.

Start or Stop Fleet Management Service

  1. Log in to the Enterprise Console GUI.
  2. Select Controller.
  3. In the More options, select Start Fleet Management or Stop Fleet Management.
Alternatively, you can use the following CLI commands to start or stop the Fleet Management Service:
Start Fleet Management
./platform-admin.sh start-fleet-management
Stop Fleet Management
./platform-admin.sh stop-fleet-management

Enable SSL for the Fleet Management Service

To secure the connection during the Agent Management, enable SSL for the Fleet Management service:

  1. Log in to the Enterprise Console GUI.
  2. Navigate to Configurations > Controller Settings > Fleet Management Configurations.
  3. Select Enable Fleet Management SSL.

Edit an SSL Certificate

When you enable Fleet Management SSL, it uses the Controller's SSL certificate by default. If you wish to use a different SSL, edit the SSL certificate as follows:

  1. Log in to the Enterprise Console GUI.
  2. Navigate to Configurations > Controller Settings > Fleet Management Configurations.
  3. Click Edit Certificate.
  4. Update the certificate content and click Save.
