JRE Requirements

  • JRE 11 or higher is required.

  • Machine Agent installations with a bundled JRE include:

    • Windows and Linux: JRE 17
    • Solaris (Solaris_sparcv9), Solaris (Solaris_X64), and AARCH64: JRE 11 as Zulu 11.72 (JDK 17)

  • Machine Agent installations without a bundled JRE should use:

    • Linux: JRE 17
    • Other operating systems (Solaris, AIX, HP-UX): JRE 11
  • The Machine Agent starts within its own JVM.
  • You can use an existing JRE previously installed in your environment, provided it meets the mentioned version requirements.
