What is being EOL?

The Malicious IP feed that detects the MALIP attack type in the Secure Application product is being deprecated. Starting with the Secure Application 25.10 release, this attack type and its associated feed will no longer be available. Additionally, this feed will not be included in OVA feed upgrades.

When will it be EOL?

Starting with Secure Application version 25.10, which is will be released in October 2025.

What is the impact?

The following changes will apply:

• This change is Controller independent. Beginning in October 2025, the MALIP attack type will no longer be visible to any Secure Application customer on cSaaS.
• For on-prem customers, the MALIP attack type will not be available starting with version 25.10 of the AppDynamics Virtual Appliance.

What options or workarounds do I have?

Currently, there is no workaround available, as the feed for this attack type will no longer be provided. However, you can still access malicious IP information through your Splunk ES integration.
