End of Support Notice: RHEL 7

This document announces the end of support (EOS) for a Splunk AppDynamics On-Premises product.

What is being EOS?

We are ending support for Splunk AppDynamics On-Premises when deployed on RHEL 7, starting with Splunk AppDynamics On-Premises version 25.1.0

When will it be EOS?

Effective with the release of Splunk AppDynamics On-Premises version 25.1.0, RHEL 7 will no longer be a supported operating system for Splunk AppDynamics On-Premises. After this release, support requests for Splunk AppDynamics On-Premises running on RHEL 7 will be handled at Cisco's sole discretion, and customers may be required to upgrade their RHEL version to 8.0 or higher to receive full support.

What workarounds do I have?

Upgrade RHEL to 8.0 or higher.
