Virtual Appliance provides incremental updates through a patch. The patch can include OS packages, images, binaries, helm charts, and so on.

Follow the steps to patch the Virtual Appliance:

1. Download the patch for the selected version from the Download portal. The file has the .patch extension.
   Note: Ensure the patch file has the required permissions to run on the cluster nodes.
2. Run the patch on each node of the cluster.

   ./appd-va-24.xx.x.y-nn.patch

   Here, 24.xx.x.y-nn denotes the patch version.The patch may prompt you to specify password for authentication.
