Administer your Virtual Appliance
This section provides information on administering Standard and Hybrid Virtual Appliance. You may need to manage Virtual Appliance nodes for maintenance activities. Perform the following steps to restart your Virtual Appliance:
Note: When the Virtual Appliance is down, it will not receive data from the agents. Therefore, schedule maintenance during periods of low traffic.
Enable Self Monitoring for the Virtual Appliance
Use Self monitoring to view Virtual Appliance health in the AppDynamics Controller and receive alerts when a monitored component needs attention. Self Monitoring for the Virtual Appliance
Manage Virtual Appliance Nodes
