Configure a Custom JRE Location on Windows
- Set up an environment variable named APPD_DB_AGENT_JRE_HOME and set its value to the JRE home folder.
- Uninstall the existing Windows service for the Database Agent. See Uninstall the Database Agent as a Service.
- Unzip the development build.
- Reinstall the Windows service for the Database Agent. See Install the Database Agent as a Windows Service. When the service restarts, it should pick up the specified JRE.
- If the environment variable is changed again, restart the service.
