Smart Agent

This release includes:

  • the support to auto-generate the application, tier and node names from the Agent Management UI. You can specify a variable prefix for the applications, tiers, and nodes. This is applicable for Java Agent installation. See Install Agents.
  • an update to the agent upgrade process. You no longer require to select Reuse config during agent upgrade. By default, Smart Agent reuses the previous configuration details. However, if you specify a new configuration, it takes precedence over the old configuration. If the configuration is not specified, Smart Agent uses the default value defined in json file.
