.Net Agent
  • The Secure Application (com.appdynamics.secapp.*) logs are now stored in SecApp.txt by default. This change prevents agent log rollovers, improves log organization, and streamlines troubleshooting.
  • The agent build supporting applications built on .NET Framework 4.6.2 is now available on the NuGet gallery, simplifying deployment and integration.
  • The .Net Agent for Windows now allows method inlining for monitored applications, wherever applicable. Previously, the method inlining was completely unavailable when monitoring an application. With this enhancement, the agent prevents method inlining only for code of interest. This improves application performance significantly.
