PI Messages

Purpose

This dashboard allows to monitor status of PI messages.

Example

PI Messages

Shows the number of:

  • canceled (with error) messages
  • error messages
  • successful messages
  • scheduled (waiting) messages

Time of longest scheduled message

Shows the the time, how long is the longest waiting message in the queue.

Error Messages

Contains a list of PI messages errors. Double click an event for more details.

Details contains:

  • Sender & Receiver:
    • name
    • party
    • interface name & namespace
  • Message:
    • id & key
    • direction (inbound / outbound)
    • status
  • Error:
    • Category & code
    • Text
  • Message size (in bytes)
  • Message duration (in ms)
Note: More details about PI messages can be found in PI System using URL: http(s)://<pi_host>:<port>/pimon under Adapter Engine / Message Monitor / Database. Here you can search for concrete message (e.g. based on Message ID or Message Key).
