Splunk announces end-of-sale and end-of-life for standalone Splunk User Behavior Analytics software
On December 12, 2025, Splunk announced end-of-sale for the Splunk User Behavior Analytics (UBA) product and also announced the end-of-support effective December 12, 2026, officially marking the Splunk UBA end-of-life.
Splunk UBA provided advanced analytics capabilities to detect unknown threats and anomalous user behavior within enterprise environments. Splunk has developed a new User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) capability that is part of the Splunk Enterprise Security Premier (ES Premier) product.
Current Splunk UBA customers will be able to continue to use the product and get support, and any software fixes Splunk may apply until December 12, 2026. After that date, all software support will end and no fixes will be provided for Splunk UBA.
If your organization currently uses Splunk UBA, or if you have questions as to why Splunk has taken this course to reallocate resources to UEBA in Splunk ES Premier, please review the FAQ. Please also review our support policies for additional information.
