The AI Assistant for security collects telemetry and feedback on prompts to help improve the product and train models. To give you more control over your data and support compliance with privacy regulations, you can opt out of this data collection.

By opting out of telemetry and feedback collection, you can immediately stop future data from being collected, but you can't delete any previously collected data.

To opt out of AI data sharing in Splunk Enterprise Security, follow these steps:

  1. In Splunk Enterprise Security, select Configure then All configurations and then Security AI Assistant settings.
  2. In the Opt-out of Research and Development section, deselect the check box for Allow Splunk to use your AI Service Data.
  3. Select Save.
