Add an additional source

If you want to add a source that's not included in the list of predefined sources, you can add an additional source. To add an additional source, complete the following steps:

  1. Select Configure then All configurations.
  2. In the Exposure analytics section, select Entity discovery sources.
  3. Select Add.
  4. Select the Additional tab.
  5. Select the type of source. See Exposure Analytics types of sources for a description of the different types of sources.

    Define the source.

  6. Enter the source definition details.
  7. Select Next.
  8. Enter the event search required. See Create or modify an event search.
  9. Select Next.
  10. Turn on the toggle switch for the entities you wish to discover and that are present within the source event search.
  11. Select Next.
  12. Validate the configuration. See Validate an entity discovery source.
  13. Select Add to add the new additional source.
