Check the effective configuration settings of a connected OTel Collector agents.

Make sure that the following conditions are met:

  • At least one OTel Collector agent is connected to agent management.
  • The OpAMP ReportsEffectiveConfig capability is enabled on the OTel Collector agent.
  1. Log in to Splunk Enterprise.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Distributed Environment > Agent management.
  3. From the left menu, select OTel Collectors.
  4. On the Agent Management - OTel Collectors page, select an OTel Collector from the list of agents.
  5. Select the Effective configuration tab.
    The page displays the effective configuration of this agent. If the agent sends multiple configuration files, separate tabs appear for each file. If the agent does not generate an effective configuration, the tab is visible but displays no content.
