Reimporting Cisco Catalyst Center services with a different tree depth creates duplicate service dependencies
How to troubleshoot if you reimported Cisco Catalyst Center services and now see duplicate service dependencies in the service sandbox tree view.
Problem
Importing Cisco Catalyst Center services more than once with different tree depths in the service import module creates duplicate service dependencies. The service sandbox tree view displays duplicate dependency paths from the root node to the reimported services.
To prevent this issue, you can either use the same tree depth for subsequent imports or remove the services from the sandbox before reimporting them.
Cause
When a service is imported, the service import module updates the services in the sandbox with new dependencies but does not remove existing dependencies.
Solution
Complete the following steps to remove duplicate service dependencies.
-
Navigate to your service sandbox:
-
From the ITSI main menu, select Configuration, then Service Monitoring.
-
Select Service Sandboxes.
-
Select your Cisco Catalyst Center sandbox.
-
-
Select the highest nodes in the tree with duplicate dependency paths.
-
Select the Service dependencies tab.
-
Select the checkboxes for the duplicate service dependencies.
-
Select Remove dependencies.
