Upgrade Splunk Service Intelligence for SAP Solutions
Follow this documentation to upgrade from a previous version of Splunk Service Intelligence for SAP Solutions to version 2.2.3.
Before you upgrade
Complete the following steps before you upgrade:
- Make sure you are on one of the supported ITSI versions.
- Upgrade ITSI to one of the compatible versions. For more information see Before you upgrade IT Service Intelligence. If you encounter issues during upgrade and you have a support contract, contact Splunk Customer Support.
Upgrade Steps
- After upgrading to a compatible ITSI version, extract the new version of Splunk Service Intelligence for SAP Solutions in $SPLUNK_HOME/etc/shcluster/apps/ directory on your search head deployer. If you have a single search head, do the extraction in $SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps/ directory.
- Push the updated bundle from the search head deployer to all your search heads. If you have a single search head, restart your search head.
