You can monitor the performance of Cisco Data Center entities using entity dashboards. You can view entity dashboards from the Entity Overview or Entity Management page.

View entity dashboards from the Entity Overview page

Learn how to access and view dashboards for different entities from the Entity Overview page.

Complete the following steps to view entity dashboards from the Entity Overview page.
  1. From the IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) main menu, select Entity Overview.
  2. Select the Cisco Nexus Switch entity type chiclet.
  3. Select an Entity Name. The syntax is <fabric_name>:<switch_name>, such as Prod:leaf1.

View entity dashboards from the Entity Management page

Complete the following steps to view entity dashboards from the Entity Management page.
  1. From the ITSI main menu, select Configuration > Entity Management.
  2. Filter for the Cisco Nexus Switch entity types:
    1. Select Advanced Filter > Add Set of Rules (OR).
    2. The default value for the dropdown is Alias. From the dropdown, select Entity Type.
    3. In the field labeled with Select…, select Cisco Nexus Switch.
  3. In the row for the entity you want to monitor, select View Health.
