About tag classifications
Tag attributes in business journeys are fields from RUM and APM telemetry that provide context about each milestone in a journey.
Overview
Attributes are fields from RUM and APM telemetry that provide context about each milestone in a journey. Splunk discovers available attributes from telemetry and classifies them based on how they can be used:
-
Correlation IDs identify the same business process across milestones.
-
Metrics provide numeric values that you can use to define business KPIs.
-
Dimensions let you filter and segment journey results, such as by region, plan, or customer type.
Use the Attribute Classifications page to manage how attributes are categorized and made available to business journeys. Classified attributes are discovered from RUM or APM data, exposed for KPI and dimension-filter configuration, and associated with the milestones where they occur.
