  • Includes profiler log support on Windows for the Request Agent Log Files of .Net Agent feature.

  • Updates the agent file layout to improve clarity:

    • The net35 folder now contains files specifically for the .NET Framework.
    • The net6.0 folder now includes files for .NET 6.0 and higher versions.

    It better file organization and makes it easier to locate the appropriate files for your target framework.

Smart Agent

This release includes:

  • the support to auto-generate the application, tier and node names from the Agent Management UI. You can specify a variable prefix for the applications, tiers, and nodes. This is applicable for Java Agent installation. See Install Agents.
  • an update to the agent upgrade process. You no longer require to select Reuse config during agent upgrade. By default, Smart Agent reuses the previous configuration details. However, if you specify a new configuration, it takes precedence over the old configuration. If the configuration is not specified, Smart Agent uses the default value defined in the JSON file.
