Agent Enhancements

This release introduces the general availability of OpenTelemetry combined mode for the .NET agent, supporting both Splunk-Only and Dual-Signal modes.

You can now configure the .NET OpenTelemetry agent using the following environment variables:
  • OTEL_SERVICE_NAME
  • OTEL_RESOURCE_ATTRIBUTES
  • OTEL_EXPORTER_OTLP_ENDPOINT
    Note:

    Starting this release, the Dual-Signal and Splunk-Only modes support only AGENT_DEPLOYMENT_MODE.
