You need to configure feed downloads because without feed data, the Secure Application service is restricted. Feed data is refreshed daily by the automatic feed download process. You must provision a user under your Splunk AppDynamics accounts portal and provide that user's credentials to the Secure Application service using the command-line interface (CLI).

The best practice is to create a user under your tenant in the the Splunk AppDynamics accounts portal that does not have admin privileges. This user's credentials can be used for automatic feed downloads. If you need help, open a case with AppDynamics Support.
