Removal of Support:

The Cisco Secure Application user interface will no longer retrieve API security findings from Cisco Panoptica due to Panoptica's end-of-sale and end-of-life announcement. You can find the Cisco Panoptica integration by navigating to Business Transactions → specific BT → API Findings tab → Panoptica Findings column. Existing API security findings will remain but won't be updated. In other words:

• If you update your services with any new APIs, Cisco Secure Application will no longer be able to retrieve API security findings from Cisco Panoptica for those new APIs after the Cisco Panoptica end-of-life date, but will continue to display existing API security findings.
• The business risk score will not include any new API security findings.

On the Secure Application UI, you can now create HTTP alerts that include more information. These alerts can be sent to Splunk Cloud or Splunk Enterprise to send application attack details with related vulnerabiiters to your security team. See Alerts Using Cisco Secure Application:

• The predefined variable $attack.events now includes additional details related to vulnerabilities in the payload.
• The predefined variable $attack.events now includes up to 256 lines of the stack trace in the payload.

Additions to the Cisco Secure Application APIs to manage the deployment and troubleshooting of Cisco Secure Application:

• Update an application's security details
• Get a list of nodes based on a given tier of an application
• Update a tier's security details
• Get a list of nodes based on a specific tier ID
• Update a node's security details

You can choose to view the Secure Application UI text in Japanese. To switch between English and Japanese, select the language from the My Preferences > View Preferences > Language menu.
