To allow traffic from Splunk AppDynamics to your Splunk deployment, ensure that Splunk AppDynamics SaaS Domains and IP Ranges can access your Splunk deployment.

If you are using Splunk Cloud Platform, you need to configure Search head API access allow lists. The default port for the Search head API access is 8089. See the Splunk Documentation.
