Purpose

This dashboard contains information about backup processes on SAP HANA database.

Example:

Time since last DATA backup in hours

Data backups on production systems should be executed on daily basis, this metric should not exceed 36 hours.

Time since the last LOG backup in minutes

Log backups are needed for point-in-time recovery of the database, age of the last log backup should be less than one hour.

Maximum used space on data backup disks

Shows maximum used space on all data backup disks in percentage.

Backup failures

Shows number of data or log backup failures.

Backup duration

Shows maximum duration of running backup threads from all database servers.
