Open custom dashboards from the CMC

Instructions to open user-created custom dashboards from with the CMC.

To access custom user-created dashboards from within the CMC, you have two options.

  • You can force the CMC to render the CMC v3.x navigation by replacing splunk_instance_monitoring/index... in the URL with splunk_instance_monitoring/search. This navigation view will include the custom dashboards.

  • Follow the following steps to access the Views list and open the dashboard from there.

  1. From the Settings menu, select User interface.
  2. On the User interface page, select Views.
  3. On the Views page, locate your custom dashboard in the list and click Open.

The custom dashboard opens in a new browser tab.
