Agent Management Enhancements

This release includes the following enhancements:
  • The supported agents now automatically release their licenses to the pool when disabled and reacquire them when re-enabled. This enhancement allows for more efficient license distribution across your environment and eliminates the need to terminate agent processes or restart applications to free up licenses for other agents. See Enable and Disable App Agents.
Note: Contact support to enable this enhancement.
  • API support for agent upgrades. See Agent Upgrade API

  • Granular permissions for Machine Agents using tag-based access control, enabling administrators to assign View Agent and Edit Agent permissions specifically for Machine Agents on hosts selected by tags. This enhancement allows precise access management without requiring full admin privileges, improving security and operational control for managing Machine Agents at scale. See Role-based Access.
