Node Details

When you click on a specific node name, the Nodes page includes these details about nodes:

Field NameDescription
Node Identifies the node name.
Agent Type The technical stack of the agent matching the application stack that is monitored.
Agent Version Identifies the version of the APM Agent.
Is Active Displays whether or not the total number of APM nodes are registered and active. Value is either Yes or No.
Is Ready Displays whether or not the number of Supported nodes that are sending heartbeats to the Secure Application service are ready. Value is either Yes or No.
Is Supported Displays whether or not the number of Active nodes that are running a Secure Application are supported. Value is either Yes or No.
Is Enabled

Displays whether or not the number of Ready nodes have a Security Setting value of Enabled. Value is either Yes or No.

Is Secured

Displays whether or not the number of Enabled nodes are sending security insights to the Secure Application service. Value is either Yes or No.

Security Setting

The security setting is disabled by default. If you require to enable the security, select Enable. This field displays these security settings for the corresponding application:

  • Enable: When the security setting is enabled for the nodes.
  • Disable: When the security setting is disabled for the nodes.
  • Inherit: When the security setting is inherited from the Controller. By default, the security setting is Disabled. Therefore, Security Status is Disabled for the application. For tiers and nodes, the security setting is inherited from the parent application and tier respectively.
Security Status

This field displays the security status for the corresponding application based on the security setting. If you have the Configure permission, you can change the security status using the Set Status option.

Last Activity

Identifies when the last activity was detected. Secured nodes send heartbeats every minute.

  • Orange warning icon: indicates dependency report for a node could not be processed for more than 24 hours.
  • Red error icon: indicates that the node could not be processed for more than 25 hours.
Last Dependency Reported

Identifies when the last dependency was detected. This reports secure and active nodes that are processed every 24 hours.

  • Orange warning icon: indicates that the agent heartbeats were unable to reach the service for more than 3 minutes.
  • Red error icon: indicates that the nodes were unable to be reached for more than 5 minutes.

You can click the Export button to download the table data. It downloads all of the rows, columns, and related data in a .csv file. A separate .json file includes the following: link to the website where the table is exported from, global filters (if any) applied to the pages, and search filters applied to the columns. These two files are compressed into a .zip file for downloading. The maximum number of rows that can be exported is 10,000. If table data exceeds 10,000 rows you may apply filters to narrow your search, or export the first 10,000 results.
